jex family + laughs + bees
Not only was this a great session, but my big feet decided to trample a bee hive in the middle of it, and with good reason, a bee planted its pointy little butt into my leg. Thankfully all that came out was "Mamasita! I just got stung!" and I didn't run around like a maniac, which was probably expected :) Thank you Jex family for letting me shoot your smiles and laughs and for making me laugh...a lot!

timing + lighting
my friend, Emily, and I were dead set to have a photo shoot one night,
and as the summer comes to a close, so does the late night light. we
hurriedly threw ourselves together and sprinted, literally, to the park
on the hill down the street from her house, just in time to catch this
glimmering, soft, beautiful light. so here are the photos to enjoy...
